I’m Owen, but some of my friends call me Obuck. I’m an actor from Richmond, VA currently seeking opportunities in the Washington DC area.

I’m graduating James Madison University in 2025 with a BA in Theatre with a concentration on performance. For the past four years I’ve been developing my artistry, acting ability, and realizing what it fully means to be an artist.

Through community theatre, I learned that creating art in a diverse, inclusive space is an absolute privilege. Acting is an immense amount of fun, but it’s also an opportunity for me to make an impact on culture and understanding. I hope to form a genuine connection with each and every person I work with and enrich myself with each process that I’m apart of.

What can I do?

I have diverse experience in many performance mediums, including film, theatre, commercial, voiceover, and more. I’m always searching for new opportunities and particularly interested in challenging roles.

  • I love being on set, whether it’s a big budget feature, a student short film, or anything in between. I think well crafted films have the power to shift perspectives in radical ways, and I love getting the opportunity to bring characters to life on screen.

  • Most of my training comes from a theatrical background, so I’m well versed in stage performance. There’s nothing like the thrill of fully committing to a character and story in front of a live audience.

  • My acting doesn’t stop at just film and theatre. I’ve already had experience in several different commercials, and hope this face can be front and center in your next commercial.
